This disclosure applies to all product links, comparison tables, and "check price" or "buy now" buttons across PestReviewHub. When you click these links and make a qualifying purchase, we receive a commission from the retailer or product partner — at no additional cost to you.
How affiliate commissions work
When you click an affiliate link on PestReviewHub, a tracking cookie is set by the retailer. If you complete a purchase within the retailer's attribution window (typically 24–30 days), we receive a percentage of the sale value as a commission.
The price you pay is identical to what you would pay by visiting the retailer directly. Affiliate commissions are paid by the retailer, not by you.
How this affects our reviews
It doesn't — and here's how we ensure that:
- Every product is evaluated against the same five-dimension methodology, regardless of whether it carries an affiliate link
- Products without affiliate links are scored exactly the same way as products with affiliate links
- We do not accept payment from brands to feature, rank, or positively review their products
- We do not accept free products in exchange for favorable coverage. If we receive a product sample, we disclose this in the review
- Our editorial team has full independence over review scores and recommendations

Common questions
Does clicking your links cost me anything extra?
No. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you click our link or visit the retailer directly. The commission comes from the retailer's margin, not from a markup on your purchase.
Do you only recommend products you earn commissions from?
No. We review products based on our methodology first, then add affiliate links where they are available. If the best product in a category has no affiliate program, we still recommend it and link to it without compensation.
Can brands pay to get a higher score or better ranking?
No. Our editorial scores are determined solely by our five-dimension methodology. Brands cannot purchase a favorable review, a higher ranking, or inclusion in a comparison. If we discover any error in our scoring, we correct it regardless of commercial relationships.
How do I know which links are affiliate links?
We include an affiliate disclosure notice at the top of every article or comparison page that contains affiliate links. You can assume that any link to a product purchase page is an affiliate link unless explicitly stated otherwise.
